Travel More, Live More Series

You are 25-30 years old, working for 3-5 years in a job that you hate. Therefore you are looking for a new job/employer and you feel that it will all be alright! Unfortunately it won’t be!

If you are dating someone/engaged/married then you are envious of your single friends and their freedom. If you are single everyone you know is getting married or pregnant. But unlike Barney Stinson your are not getting awesome.

Your weekends are either spent lazing in the bed nursing a hangover from previous nights or  the movie-multiplex-merchandise-mall routine.

You have dreams but are not sure if they will ever be fulfilled. You are confused about your future or rather the lack of it. In short your life is a mess.

  • Is this a decently accurate description of your life?
  • Do you want to change it?

If you have answered a yes to the above, then read on.

If I would have asked these very questions a year back or even my response would have been a HUGE YES! But then I thought ‘enough is enough’My dream was to travel the country with my ‘Beauty in Red”. And the longer I stick to the cubicle, the farther away from the dream I would be.

So one fine day I resigned, served my notice period to my employer and within a 10 days of my last day at work, I was on my way to Gujarat.

And since then I have been constantly asked about how I quit my job and decided to travel. I wrote about the same last week , but then i questioned myself, ” If I were to read this post a year back or so, would I get some really useful advice?”. Well, Not exactly

Therefore I’ve set out to create a series of useful advice for the people seeking answers to questions before taking a leap as well a bit of inspiration to go ahead. I’ve had a lovely set of people whose stories inspired me and today I  hope to make a change to lives of few other souls.

So starting the next , am going to write a new article every week giving you real life, practical tips from making the transition from where you grudgingly are to where you want to be. Tips about over coming your personal barriers, de-cluttering your life, saving money, how to plan your travels and everything else for you to live a more happier and fulfilled life. Now since I love travelling and that’s something I am good at, my advice will have a travel angle to it. But that does not mean that it cannot be applicable to a person wanting to start his own restaurant or become a musician or starting their own business. You just need to rack your brains a bit about ho to get the maximum out of the experiences I am going to share with you. And I will also be sharing with you some more recommended readings - stuff that other travel bloggers, lifestyle redesigners have to say whenever I get something that is share worthy.

EXCITED? YES?

Ok, so here’s what you need to do if you want to get regular updates on Travel More, Live More Series.

And  even if you do not do any of the above , you will still get everything from the Travel More, Live More Series. Only that you will have to visit the site every now and then to see if there are any updates. Doing the above only makes it easier for you.

But I cannot accomplish this entirely on my own. I need your help. Share with me your problems and obstacles and I will try to help as much as I can. Or if you find anything useful, let me know how I helped by commenting on the story or emailing me at venkatganesh@indiabackcpackmotorbike.com. It will make my day to hear how I could contribute to your life. So as Jerry Maguire tells Rod Tidwell, “Help me Help you!”
