The Greens in and around Gaddi!

Venkat Ganesh Photostory #FriFotos, Hampi, India, Karnataka, Travel 0

This weeks #FriFotos theme is GREEN. And it could not have come at a better time. I have just arrived here in Hyderabad from Hampi where I spent close to a week. And the area around Hampi could not have been greener. With paddy fields all around coconut trees lining the fields and mountains of massive rocks it was picturesque.

I stayed at Virpapur Gaddi, more commonly known as Gaddi, a small village across the river from town of Hampi. This is where you stay if you want peace and tranquil surroundings and some beautiful views.

I start with the guest house that I stayed at. With a restaurant of my guest house (and few other guest houses as well) providing a green views like these there was no other place that you’d want to be

And there was something about the village that made me wake up early every morning. And when I went for walk I observed the entire fields had a layer of glow above them.

On a closer look I observed that the dew drops that settled and morning sunrays that reflected off the dew was the reason.

And there was a spider that had spun its web among the greens

And it was not just Virpapur Gaddi itself but all the neighbouring villages that had fields. With coconut trees scattered around the fields and mountains made of huge rocks the landscapes could not get better.

And then there were birds that flew around in flocks are alone.

Needless to say that I would ride around the roads and climbs some hills to get some clicks some landscapes these or just roaming around with fellow traveller around the GREEN pastures

Those were all the Green photos from Hampi, but I am sure that I will roam around some more places full of greenfields.  And yes to see some more  Green fotos follow #FriFotos on Twitter.

Lost in Paradise! Encounters with Nameless faces!
