Photo of the Week : King of the Jungle

Called by the name Raju, this Asiatic lion is one of the 400 odd of its species left on this planet. Although I came across numerous prides with lionesses and the cubs at the Gir National Forest, I was longing to see a male. It was last safari in the forest and I had almost given up my hopes on sighting a male lion when we spotted this one.
